Andante (Grade Levels 7 & 8)

The Andante level teaches our proven methods and tools at a middle school level. We begin with teaching the students how to read a source text critically and identify key ideas and points from what they have read. They will then write these key ideas and points in their own words using the Outline of Focused Facts (OFF) that they have constructed. The student will use these key ideas that they have read to develop an OFF. This OFF will be used as the foundation to teach your child how to effectively write a basic paragraph, a summary paragraph, and three essays during this level. Each essay will be unique and will give your student a strong foundation for writing essays in high school.
